Umitamago Aquarium, a good place to go with children Japan's Beppu

I visited the Umitamago Aquarium in Beppu, Japan, located in Oita Prefecture. Beppu is Oita Prefecture's second most populous small and medium-sized city.

The Umitago Aquarium was a place full of cheap prices and a lot of things to see. It was a great place to visit. It costs 2,300 yen per adult, and children under 4 years old are free. It costs about 50,000 won for a three-family visit.
Dolphin shows, walrus shows, sea shark shows, and pelican shows are held by time. Not only the price, but the quality of the aquarium program was not comparable to that of Korea. It's so full that I think it's a waste of money. I've been to aquariums in Jeju, Seoul, and Ilsan in Korea.

When three families visit, it's well over 100,000 won. There are so many visitors that you don't know if they're looking at fish or people, and there are places where there are no internal shows. The aquariums in Japan were different. In the aquarium, you could see the fish really clearly.

Korean aquarium glass was often distorted due to severe refraction, but Japan was not. I think there is a technical difference in this area. The size of the aquarium is not that big. But the quality was really high visually.

Was the hairtail such a mysterious fish? The director was outstanding. He showed the hairtail moving its scales while shooting light in the water, showing the hairtail shining. It's a bunch of sardines. I used to see a bunch of sardines with my own eyes in Moalboal, Cebu, the Philippines, where I could see them really closely and clearly without going into the water.

Jellyfish are also spectacular. They shoot different colors of light every moment, so they turn red and blue. It's a lalooq that lives in the Amazon. When you're an adult, it's more than three meters big, and it's also called the largest fish on Earth.

It's a similar name, but it's a more famous piranha. It's one of the sharp-toothed, highly aggressive fish. You can see the piranha this close. It looks like a spatula with a little protruding lower jaw.

That was the highlight. Sea lions and walruses and so on come out and perform. Would you believe that if you were to sit up, whistle, hit your hips with your hands, and roll around? It was a performance that made me wonder how they would have been trained. If you visit Beppu, Oita Prefecture, Japan, it is a must-visit place.
